Around 3PM today, the Sturgeon Bay Police and Fire joint water rescue team was dispatched to a jet ski floating in the water about a mile off of 4786 Bark Road. Prior to arrival Door County Sheriffs Deputies from land had spotted a jet skier in the water in distress. Once on scene the joint water rescue team was able to locate the jet skier and take the male to shore for a medical evaluation.
