Traffic Stop Leads To Sturgeon Bay Man's Arrest
On April 16, 2014 at 1:52 AM, Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Florida Street. Upon making contact with the driver Officers identified him as a 34 year old Sturgeon Bay man who had a suspended drivers license and wasn't supposed to be driving. While Officers spoke with the Sturgeon Bay man Officers detected a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and confiscated Marijuana. Officers arrested the driver for Bail jumping, Probation Hold, and cited the Sturgeon Bay man with ordinance possession of Marijuana and Operating While Suspended. The 34 year old driver is incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
