open house for new WIS 42/57 and Michigan Street roundabout in Sturgeon Bay
Public can
view/walk the roundabout before it opens to traffic
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region is holding an
open house, on-site at the new Michigan Street roundabout at WIS 42/57 in
Sturgeon Bay from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, June 27. This is an opportunity
to view the roundabout and walk the pedestrian accommodations prior to the
roundabouts opening to traffic. All ages are welcome to walk the roundabout.
Engineers will be on hand to answer any questions. The public can park in the
YMCA parking lot on Michigan Street and walk over to the Michigan Street
roundabout.
The
WIS 42/57 roundabout project, and the Bayview Bridge project, is on schedule to
open to traffic before July 1.
