Juveniles Cited For Meddling Downtown
On February 16, 2012 at 8:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the downtown area after it was reported two juvenile males had been running out into the middle of the street in front of cars. As Officers approached the area Officers overheard loud yelling coming from the two juveniles. Officers approached the individuals and advised them to not run out into the street. While talking with the juveniles a local owner of a business came out to Officers to complain about the two juveniles. Officers then observed newspaper boxes knocked over downtown. Officers interviewed the two juveniles and determined the juveniles thought it would be fun to knock over the boxes. Officers cited the juveniles for an ordinance violation of Meddling/Destruction of Property.
