Possible Burglary Thwarted By Officers Conducting Property Checks!
On Monday, March 19, 2012 at 1 AM, Officers working on the west side of Sturgeon Bay were contacted by a witness who had observed two males dressed in black running east behind Cellcom towards the old Coop building. Officers who were in the area conducting property checks on businesses, checked the area on foot, but were unable to locate the suspects. Officers remind business owners and homeowners to keep vehicles and buildings locked. When possible turn interior or exterior lights on. Officers have found during some of the most recent burglaries nearby citizens have heard abnormal sounds, but failed to contact Police. Officers urge citizens to contact Police with anything suspicious going on in there neighborhood. With your assistance we can catch these individual(s) responsible for committing these crimes in our community.
