Sunday morning Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Third Avenue for an accident involving a 19 year old Sturgeon Bay man who had driven his car into a house causing damage to the vehicle and the houses natural gas meter. Due to the crash and the subsequent damage to the natural gas meter on the house the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department and Sturgeon Bay Utilities were contacted.
Prior to Officers arrival the 19 year old driver fled the scene and was arrested Tuesday morning. The 19 year old Sturgeon Bay man was booked into the Door County Jail on Bail jumping, Reckless Driving, and a Probation Hold.
