On December 5, 2013 at 1:25 PM, Officers were dispatched to a theft complaint at Walmart. Walmart loss prevention staff had observed the same individuals who had stolen from them before stealing again inside Walmart. Walmart Loss prevention staff gave Officers a description of the vehicle and its occupants. Officers located the vehicle on Egg Harbor Road. The suspects attempted to getaway from Officers by driving into the John Miles County Park on 14th Avenue. While in John Miles County Park the suspects did attempt to flee on foot, but decided against it and got back into their vehicle. Officers conducted a high risk traffic stop on the vehicle and its occupants. Officers arrested the following three individuals:
- A 40 year old Depere woman was arrested for Felony Theft & Felony Bail-jumping.
- A 44 year old Green Bay man was arrested for Felony Theft & Felony Bail-jumping.
- A 24 year old Green Bay man was arrested for Felony Theft.
After making the arrests Officers found edged weapons on the individuals. Officers learned that the individuals involved have been engaging in these types of thefts for sometime now in Door County and in Brown County. The investigation is still ongoing and Officers expect additional charges.
