Sexual Abuse to a Child
On February 3, police were dispatched to a city residence for an alleged sexual assault of a 3 year old child. An investigation was conducted, and police found there was enough evidence to arrest the suspect, a 64 year old male from Sturgeon Bay. The male was taken to jail and lodged on the following charges: sexual assault of a child, child enticement and exposing genitals to a child. The suspect remained in jail awaiting an appearance before a judge. The case has been referred to the DA's Office for formal charges and prosecution.
