This past week Officers attended a week long National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) sponsored Boater Tactical Operators Course held in Green Bay. The course taught Officers how to operate and conduct security zone enforcement, protect high value assets such as the Tall Ship festival or when dignitaries visit by boat. As a result of this training the Sturgeon Bay Police Marine Patrol will be able to work more closely with water patrol units from surrounding agencies and with the United States Coast Guard, which is stationed in Sturgeon Bay.
The Sturgeon Bay Police Department is proud to serve, protect, and work in partnership with the community to ensure a safe nurturing environment.
