Officers were dispatched to the 1600 Block of Delaware Street for males who were on bicycles attempting to steal items from the back of a pickup truck. The males took off when the homeowner confronted them. The Police Department would like to remind everyone to lock your vehicle doors and place items of value out of sight or in your home while your vehicle is left unattended.
