Pursuant to section 301.46(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes the Chief of Police of the City of Sturgeon Bay and the the Sheriff of Door County are providing information to the general public relating to persons who are convicted sex offenders. These people are registered with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Program. Community Notification of Registered sex offender is not intended to punish. Many registrants have been successfully reintegrated into the communities where they live and work. No person may engage in harassment of the registrants.
