On Saturday October 15, 2011 around 7PM, Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at a residence in the 200 block of South 18th Avenue. Upon arrival Officers found a man dead. After conducting an initial investigation of the death it was determined by the Officers and the Medical Examiner to be suspicious. A criminal investigation into this matter is ongoing. The Sturgeon Bay Police Department would like to assure the general public that they are not in danger.
