For their equipment purchase, the department bought a Panasonic Arbitrator 360 Mobile Digital Video System. The in-squad video system allows the department to record traffic stops which proves to be a valuable piece of evidence in court, especially for drunk driving arrests. This purchase now brings the total number of patrol squad cars equipped with this system to five, with only one patrol squad remaining to be equipped.
