As more and more traffic begins to come through the City of Sturgeon Bay, Officers are asking Sturgeon Bay residents to attempt to use alternate routes when travelling through the City. Citizens should expect traffic backups along the detour route and citizens should plan for additional time needed when travelling to and from destinations in the City of Sturgeon Bay. Officers this past week have responded to an increase in accidents on the detour route and would like citizens and visitors to slow down and to pay attention to other motorists on the roadway.
