On May 3, 2013 at 8 AM, Officers were dispatched to assist with a home visit for Probation and Parole at a residence in the 200 block of 7th Avenue. Upon arriving Officers found that the Sturgeon Bay man was refusing to allow Probation agents into his residence. As Officers waited outside the 57 year old man told Probation Officers that he wanted to kill himself. Officers made contact with the man and attempted to take him into custody, but the man resisted Officers attempts to do so. Officers used a Taser to gain the Sturgeon Bay mans compliance. The 57 year old Sturgeon Bay man was arrested and transported to the Door County Jail where he was incarcerated on a Probation Hold, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting An Officer.
