Last night around 1 AM, third shift Officers attempted to stop a white Ford Truck in the downtown area for a moving violation. The truck decided to not stop and attempted to flee the Officer. A high speed chase ensued for a period of a few blocks before the truck crashed into a snowbank and shrubs. The driver fled on foot, but was later found and arrested for OWI and multiple other charges. A passenger in the vehicle was temporarily detained and may face charges as well. Sturgeon Bay Officers continue to investigate the incident.
