On January 3, 2013 at 8:00 PM, an Officer working on the west side of Sturgeon Bay observed a vehicle travelling extremely slow and over the center line. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as a 53 year old Sturgeon Bay women. While talking with the driver Officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from the driver. Field sobriety tests were conducted on the female driver, which she failed. Officers administered a Preliminary Breath Test (PBT), which indicated a .16 amount (twice the legal limit). Officers arrested the 53 year old driver for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) third Offense and incarcerated her at the Door County Jail.
