Algoma Man Arrested For OWI
On January 27, 2013 at 7:44 PM, Officers were dispatched to Cherry Lanes. Upon arrival Officers were told by the complainant that a male and female had entered the bar looking for someone to fight. Officers were given a description of the male and female and the vehicle they left in. Officers found the vehicle and made contact with the individuals. Officers found that they had entered Cherry Lanes attempting to find out why the males brother was assaulted the previous night. Officers also noticed while talking with the individuals that they had been drinking. Officers conducted Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs), which the male driver failed. Officers provided a Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) and received a .155 result. Officers arrested the 36 year old Algoma man for Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense. The Algoma man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
