Sturgeon Bay Man Arrested For OWI
On January 21, 2013 at 11 AM, Officers were dispatched to Qmart for a male who had been drinking. Upon arrival Officers were informed that the man had fallen over while inside the store and had smelled of alcohol. Officers canvassed the nearby area and observed the 48 year old Sturgeon Bay man driving on the highway. Officers stopped the man and determined he indeed had been drinking. Officers conducted field sobriety tests on the driver, which the driver failed. A preliminary breath test (PBT) was issued to the man, which indicated .28 result. Officers arrested the 48 year old man for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) and transported him to the Door County Jail.
