On
June 22, 2013 at
1:22 AM, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious complaint of a man hiding between houses watching a residence in the 500 block of
Huron Street. Upon arrival Officers were told that a man later identified as 20 year old Donald Gronke had fled on foot leaving his bicycle in the street. Prior to fleeing, Gronke attempted to start a fight with a male onlooker. Officers learned later that the Gronke had ridden his bicycle from Kewaunee to
Sturgeon Bay and had violated his bond conditions after attempting to make contact with a party who lives in the area. Kewaunee County Sheriffs Deputies were able to find Gronke and arrested him for the Sturgeon Bay Police Department. Officers took custody of Gronke and transported him to the Door County Jail where he was incarcerated on Felony Bail jumping.
