Bike Safety Rodeo This Saturday at 9 AM, Sunset Park
Join the Door County Silent Sports Alliance and the City of Sturgeon Bay Police Department for a FREE bike safety rodeo on Saturday, June 22nd at 9 AM, Sunset Park, Sturgeon Bay. This bike rodeo is geared for children 3rd through 7th grades. Children will watch a video on bike safety; then will learn through hands-on experience about the rules of the road, hand signals, and safety. Helmet fittings and bike checks will be completed as well.
The bike rodeo will take place at 9:00 am. If interested, please sign up at the Sturgeon Bay Police Department or call the PD at 920-746-2450, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Walk-ins are welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the rodeo.
Kids will need to bring their own bikes with them in good operating condition: tires inflated, seats adjusted properly, etc. Upon completion of the bike safety rodeo, children will receive a Bell Bike Helmet donated by Cellcom and Habush, Habush and Rotier S.C.
Now is the perfect time to learn to become a safe cyclist!
