On December 15, 2012 at 1 AM, Officers were dispatched to the alleyway behind the Nautical Bar for a man possibly carrying a gun. Upon arrival Officers found that an assault had taken place and a Sturgeon Bay man had been punched in the face causing minor injury. After interviewing the individuals involved, Officers determined that the assault occurred after a bet between the two men had gone bad. Officers arrested the 30 year old Florida man for Disorderly Conduct and Battery. Officers on scene found no weapons on the Florida man or in the immediate area. The Florida man was booked into the Door County Jail.
