Officers Respond To Multiple Disturbances
On December 23, 2012 at 10:30 PM, Officers responded to multiple disturbances spread out across the City of Sturgeon Bay. Three disturbances occurred within a 30 minute time period.
During one of the disturbances at a residence on Third Avenue, Officers were dispatched to a female being strangled. Upon arrival Officers encountered a 34 year old male suspect holding a knife. The man retreated to his room and locked himself inside. Officers escorted the female out of the residence to a safe area and made entry into the room where the 34 year old male was located. Officers arrested the 34 year old Sturgeon Bay man without incident. The Sturgeon Bay man was arrested on Strangulation, False Imprisonment, Disorderly Conduct, and Battery charges. The 34 year old Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
