On June 24, 2015 from 6 PM to 7 PM, there will be a Bike Safety Rodeo at Bay View Lutheran Church located at 340 W Maple St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. Everyone is welcome to attend this event. Kids will need to bring their own bikes with them in good operating condition: tires inflated, seats adjusted properly, etc. There will be a booth/tent for children’s bikes to be inspected and if any issues are found they can be corrected on site. All children will receive a brand new free bike helmet. There will be a bike course for them to ride on and a safety briefing on rules of the road for bicyclists.
Additionally Door County EMS will be putting on a first aid presentation for all children as well. Each child will be receiving a gift basket. Sturgeon Bay Officers and CSO’s will be putting the function on with assistance from Door County Silent Sports, Door County EMS, and church members.
