On June 23, 2015 at 1:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to Motel 57 to assist staff with escorting two individuals from the building. While on scene Officers learned that a 29 year old Sturgeon Bay man had been staying there. Officers learned that the 29 year old Sturgeon Bay man had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. Officers initially couldn't find the man, but later observed a man fitting the description attempting to crawl through a rear window of the motel. Officers made contact with the man who initially attempted to flee on foot. While fleeing the man dropped his wallet and a bottle of alcohol. Officers arrested the man for the outstanding warrants and a probation hold. The 29 year old Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
