On June 12, 2015 at 12:29 AM, Officers stopped a vehicle for travelling in the other lane of travel on Third Avenue. Officers identified the driver as a 37 year old Sturgeon Bay man. While talking with the driver officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Field Sobriety Tests (FSTS) were administered, which the driver failed. A preliminary breath test was administered, which indicated a .28 amount. Officers arrested the Sturgeon Bay man for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) 3rd offense and incarcerated him at the Door County Jail.
