On June 12, 2015 at 10:02 AM, Officers were called to the Door County Justice Center for an intoxicated driver. Upon arrival Officers spoke to deputies providing security for the court rooms who state a female identified as a 29 year old Sturgeon Bay woman had left the court room smelling of alcohol. Officers made contact with the Sturgeon Bay woman and found that she had been drinking. Field Sobriety Tests (FSTS) were administered, which the woman failed. A preliminary breath test was administered, which indicated a .19 amount. Officers arrested the Sturgeon Bay woman for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) 2nd offense and incarcerated her at the Door County Jail.
