Sturgeon Bay Man Arrested In Disturbance
On June 17, 2015 at 7:58 AM, Officers responded to a disturbance in the construction area on Maple Street. Upon arrival Officers found a 31 year old Sturgeon Bay man being held down by construction workers. Officers found that the Sturgeon Bay man had entered the construction zone and began to operate a nearby backhoe. The Sturgeon Bay man who was intoxicated was coaxed out of the machinery by nearby workers. Once out the man began to run towards an open trench. The construction workers stopped the man from going into the trench until officers arrived to secure the man. Officers arrested the Sturgeon Bay man on a Probation Hold and referred charges to the Door County District Attorneys office for Disorderly Conduct. The 58 year old Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
