Use Caution at Madison Ave @ Maple St Traffic Signal

PLEASE use extra caution at the Madison Ave and Maple St intersection.  The traffic signals malfunctioned this afternoon and are currently in flashing mode, which is the set up during the midnight hours.

Madison Ave traffic has the flashing yellow light and Maple St traffic has the flashing red.

Motorists MUST STOP at a flashing red light and motorists approaching a flashing yellow light should slow down and proceed with caution.

SBPD asks all motorists and pedestrians to use extra caution while using this intersection in flashing mode.  Technicians will be arriving tomorrow to look at the lights and fix the malfunction.
