Officers were dispatched to a residence on North 5th Avenue at 5:30 AM this morning for a stolen vehicle. Officers received information from the homeowner that around 2 AM he heard a vehicle squealing its tires near his residence. It was only later that he noticed his vehicle missing. Officers checked the area and recovered the stolen vehicle a short time after receiving the complaint in the 700 block of Georgia Street. Officers would like to remind everyone to lock vehicle doors and do not leave keys or valuables in vehicles.
