On Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 1:37 AM, Officers stopped a vehicle on the east side of Sturgeon Bay for a traffic offense. Upon making contact with the driver Officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from the male driver. Officers identified the driver as a 50 year old Sturgeon Bay man. Officers administered field sobriety tests to the Sturgeon Bay man, which he failed. Officers provided a Preliminary Breath Test (PBT), which indicated a .177 amount. Officers arrested the 50 year old Sturgeon Bay man for Operating While Intoxicated 6th Offense. The Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail on a felony charge of OWI 6th Offense.
