On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 6 AM, Officers were dispatched to the Door County Jail for a male who had come to pick up a friend who had just been arrested for OWI. It was found by dispatch that the male coming to pick his friend up had an active felony warrant out of Brown County. Officers made contact with the male in the parking lot of the Door County Justice Center and found that he had been driving and had been drinking alcohol. Officers conducted field sobriety tests on the driver, which the driver failed. The driver a 22 year old male from Green Bay was arrested for the active warrant and Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). The 22 year old was booked into the Door County Jail on the above charges.
