On January 8, 2012 at 9:20 PM, Officers observed a vehicle make a traffic violation on Egg Harbor Road. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and found the driver to have bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The Officer on scene conducted Field Sobriety Tests, which the 39 year old Sturgeon Bay man failed. Officers placed the man under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) 3rd Offense. The Sturgeon Bay man was transported to the Door County Jail where he was incarcerated on the OWI 3rd Offense and two misdemeanor violations (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia & Possession of Prescription Medication With Out Prescription).
