On April 5, 2012 at 3PM, Officers were dispatched to a theft complaint at Bayship. Upon arrival Officers found that three flat screen digital televisions were missing from one of the ships while it was docked at Bayship receiving repairs. It was later found that an employee of the ship had stolen the televisions and had used it to pay his bar tab at a local bar. Officers recovered the televisions from the establishment. Based upon Officers findings and statements obtained from witnesses the Door County District Attorney will be charging the 25 year old male from Chicago with Felony Theft Charges.
