Sturgeon Bay Man Arrested For OWI After Disturbance!
On May 23, 2012 at 9:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to the Phil Mart gas station to meet with the complainant reference an alleged disturbance at a residence in the 1600 block of Florida Street. Upon arrival Officers made contact with a man who had driven to the location to make a complaint about his live in girlfriend. While interviewing the man Officers found that the man had a difficult time standing and walking. The man also had been drinking. Officers conducted field sobriety tests, which the 60 year old Sturgeon Bay man failed. Officers arrested the 60 year Sturgeon Bay man for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) 2nd Offense and also determined that the disturbance was false. The Sturgeon Bay man was transported and incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
