On March 14, 2015 at 9:37 PM, an
officer made contact with a 29 year old male while conducting a traffic stop
for speeding and an extinguished headlight.
After identifying and conducting a records check on the individual, it
was determined he was operating on a revoked license. The officer questioned the individual on his
license status and he thought the license had been reinstated. A citation was issued for “Operating While
Revoked”. Passenger was the registered owner who removed
the vehicle after the stop was completed.

Traffic Violation 2nd Offense
On March 20, 2015 at 1:40 AM, an officer
made contact with a 37 year old male while conducting a traffic stop on Highway
42/57 near Stagg Road. The officer ran
the license plate and driver’s information finding the male without a valid
driver’s license. Upon making contact
with the driver, he admitted to not having a valid driver’s license and
insurance on the vehicle. There were
two passengers in the vehicle that did not have valid driver’s license. The driver was cited for “Operating without
a License 2nd offense”, as he was cited once before within the past
3 years. The officer remained on the
scene until a friend arrived to pick up the driver and his passengers.

Sturgeon Bay Man Arrested For Assault
On March 1, 2015 at 2:55 AM, officers responded to a residence on the west side of Sturgeon Bay reference a male who had broken into the residence and assaulted the homeowner. Upon arrival officers found a window broken and a male inside the residence with injuries from a fight. The officers found that the 30 year old Sturgeon Bay man responsible for the injuries had fled prior to officers arrival. Officers later arrested the 30 year old Sturgeon Bay man and incarcerated him at the Door County Jail on Disorderly Conduct, Battery, and Criminal Damage To Property.

2 Door County Men Arrested In ICAC Operation
This weekend Sturgeon Bay investigators working an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) operation targeting online predators arrested two Door County men for their involvement. Both men were incarcerated at the Door County Jail awaiting charges from the Door County District Attorneys Office.
