Granary Relocating

For some the big excitement isn’t the Easter Bunny coming this weekend, it’s the Granary moving to its new home.  Tomorrow, March 29th, the east side access to the Oregon Street Bridge will be closed starting at 5:00 am and the west side area will be closed at 6:30 am.  The process of moving the granary is expected to be completed at 11:00 am.   Locations open to the public to view the move are Sawyer Park, Graham Park, and the Michigan Street Bridge walkway.

Act Of Kindness

Sergeant Tassoul responded to a mother and 3 young kids stranded at an apartment complex with no money waiting for a ride back to Illinois.  Sergeant Tassoul spoke with Jason Estes, Sonny’s Pizzeria, and he immediately offered to provide them with pizza and even had it delivered.

The Sturgeon Bay Police Department wants to give a huge “THANK YOU” to Jason Estes and Sonny’s Pizzeria for your support to this family.  All it takes is an act of kindness like this to help people in a bad situation feel a little bit better.

St. Patrick's Day

The festivities begin with the 25th annual St. Patrick's Day parade kicking off at Sawyer Park on Saturday at 11:00 am with a Sturgeon Bay Police Department squad leading the way.  As the festivities continue throughout the day into the night, remember to have a designated leprechaun so your luck doesn't run out.  Have fun and be safe!

                              HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
