On April 13, 2012 at 9 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Lansing Avenue for a Theft complaint. Upon arrival Officers were informed by the complainant that a truck parked in the parking lot had its Diesel fuel siphoned from it. The complainant believes the truck had about 20 to 25 gallons of fuel removed from it. As fuel costs increase Officers see an increase in Diesel and gas thefts from vehicles. Officers ask residents to report any suspicious incidents they see going on in their neighborhoods to Police.
