UPDATE-Wind Storm Continues To Cause Road Closures & Power Problems

As of 5:30 AM, Jefferson Street is now open.

Tacoma Beach Road remains closed and will be for sometime. Other than Tacoma Beach Road

all roads should be passable, but there is allot of debris on the roadway so drive safe through the City.  The majority of Sturgeon Bay has power, but much of Northern Door County doesn’t. Many roads are closed north of the City due to fallen trees and power lines across roadways. Closer to the City, Bay Shore Driveis completely impassable. Sturgeon Bay Utilities and Wisconsin Public Service is out removing trees and repairing power lines. Door County currently has around 10,000 customers without power.
