The City of Sturgeon Bay Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Board would like to remind everyone that May is National Bike Month.  Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling and encourages more people to give it a try.  40% of all trips in the US are less than two miles, making bicycling a feasible and fun way to get to around.  Plus, bicycling provides the added bonus of being a healthy, sustainable, and economic transportation option.  Highlighted within Nation Bike Month are Bike to School Day (May 10^th), Bike to Work Week (May 15^th thru May 19^th) and Bike to Work Day (May 19^th).
