Oops, Wrong Direction

Keep your eyes on the road, as the GPS doesn't always know best! 

When it comes to driving, pay attention to the road and your surroundings.  Accidents happen from talking on the phone, looking at text messages, something dropping on the floor and picking it up, or looking at map or GPS even if it's for a split second.  Thankfully the driver of this vehicle was not injured.  

Winter Parking Ban

It's that time of year again and we have seen a little snow already!  With that being said, it's time to starting thinking of the winter parking ban that is in effect as of December 1, 2017 and ends April 1, 2018.  On street parking is prohibited from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. during those months. 

Special parking permit applications and information can be obtained from the City of Sturgeon Bay Municipal Services office at 835 N 14th Avenue.  Forms are also available online at www.sturgeonbaywi.org.  The information needed to complete the application is a name, address, license plate number, and vehicle information such as the year, make, model, etc.  Cost for a seasonal pass is $55.00 or $28.00 per month.  The cost of a parking ticket is $15.00 for each ticket cited to your vehicle and increases to $25 when the ticket has not paid by the due date.
