Sturgeon Bay Police Arrest 3 For OWI This Past Friday and Saturday Night
This past weekend 3 people were arrested for Operating While Intoxicated in The City of Sturgeon Bay. One of the arrests took place during the departments Click It or Ticket Mobilization. The other two arrests occurred in the early morning hours of the night.
Highlighting why Officers are out in force looking for intoxicated motorists; one of the arrests that took place during the early morning hours of Friday and Saturday night happened when Night Shift Officers observed a truck with no lights on and its plow down on the pavement creating a massive amount of sparks as it drove down the road. As you can imagine this could have turned into a very deadly situation and Officers are glad it turned out alright for everyone involved. Officers remind citizens to take a taxi home instead of driving while intoxicated, its much cheaper than the fine you will receive if you are stopped for operating while intoxicated.
