The
Sturgeon Bay Police Department announces the promotion of Officer Shawn Mogen
to Police Sergeant, effective September 1, 2017.
Shawn
started with the Sturgeon Bay Police Department June 2011. Prior to becoming a
police officer, Shawn spent 21 years with the United States Coast Guard;
retiring with the status of Chief Warrant Officer.
Shawn is a
member of the Police Department’s Dive Team, Special Operation Team and is the
lead officer of the Marine Patrol. He is also the Department’s liaison point of
contact with the Coast Guard.
Shawn excels at his profession, and will be a valued
member of the leadership team of the Department. Shawn’s devotion is a direct
demonstration of our mission statement which in part reads: the Mission of the Sturgeon Bay Police
Department is the serve, protect, and work in partnership with the community to
ensure a safe nurturing environment.
