On July 4th 2012 at 4:30 AM, Officers were dispatched to 200 block of N. 17th Drive for a Vandalism complaint. Upon arrival Officers found that the complainants mailbox had been destroyed by some sort of explosive device. As Officers investigated further it appeared to be a homemade explosive device. Officers recovered evidence from the crime scene and will be processing it further. Officers are asking the public to contact Police if you saw anyone in the area around 11 PM on July 3, 2012 that was acting suspicious.
