On April 24, at 11:21 AM, an officer was dispatched for a female
bitten by a cat. The cat is orange,
wearing a collar, and can be found in the area between North 4th and
Iowa Street.
The female received medical attention at the Door County Medical Center for her injuries. Officers are asking if anyone has seen a similar cat in the area and know who the cat belongs to contact the Police Department at 920-746-2450 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can use the departments Confidential Web Tip Form located on the Police Departments website: www.sturgeonbaypolice.com/webtip.html or click "Give A Tip!" on the Police Departments Facebook page.
Unfortunately, if the cat isn’t located the female will have to begin receiving a series of rabies vaccinations.
