On April 11, 2015, off duty officers witnessed
a vehicle crossing the centerline numerous times, almost making contact with
parked vehicles. The vehicle almost
struck the vehicle of the off duty officer while backing up in the lane of
traffic due to missing a turn. The officer
contacted an officer on duty regarding the vehicle. At 11:30 PM, the responding officer made
contact with the 58 year old male. Upon
making contact with the driver, he admitted to drinking and consuming a 12 pack
of beer. The driver was cited for
“Operating while under the Influence 4th” and transported to the Door County
Jail.
