On July 9, 2015 at 2 AM, Officers on patrol downtown observed a 21 year old man lying in the roadway on the Oregon Bridge in the lane of travel. Officers approached the man and observed the man lying on the ground with a knife in his hand. The knife was pointed at the mans chest. Officers spoke with the man and ordered him to place the knife on the ground. After a few minutes the man released his grip on the knife and placed it next to him. Officers took the 21 year old man into custody without incident and transported him to Door County Medical Center for treatment.
