On the July 14 at 3:23pm, officers were dispatched to a two vehicle injury accident on N 5th Ave @ Kentucky St. One vehicle rolled over and ended up on its roof. The driver of that vehicle, a 55 year old male from Sturgeon Bay, was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, a 91 year old female from Sturgeon Bay, was not injured.
Preliminary investigation shows the vehicle that ended up on its roof was southbound on 5th Ave with the right away, when the eastbound vehicle on Kentucky St failed to stop for their stop sign, striking the vehicle and causing the roll over. Citation(s) are expected to be issued upon completion of the investigation.
