Student Arrested After Drug Search At High School


On May 28, 2013 at 8:30 AM, Officers with the assistance of the State Patrol K9 conducted a K9 sniff of the Sturgeon Bay High School parking lot. While conducting the sweep of the parking lot the K9 alerted to one of the vehicles.  A search of the vehicle found drug paraphernalia and drugs inside the vehicle.  Officers arrested the 18 year old Sturgeon Bay man for Felony Drug Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The 18 year old male was transported to the Door County Jail where he was incarcerated.

This is the second sweep of the high school in the last few months. Earlier in the year Officers arrested another male for Drug Possession as well.  Officers will continue to conduct sweeps of the high school until it is drug free.
