Officers Investigate Accident Involving Home
On October 14, 2018 at 330 AM, Officers were dispatched to a west side residence for an accident where the vehicle had struck a residence. Upon arrival Officers observed a vehicle partially inside a residence. As a result of the accident the home sustained substantial damage. Officers interviewed the driver who told police he thought the road he was on was a 45 MPH zone. The driver admitted to not knowing what speed he was traveling when he struck the residence. The area where the crash occurred is a posted 25 MPH zone. Officers cited the driver with numerous traffic violations including reckless driving endangering safety, operate without insurance, and speeding.
